“ This cafe has excellent potential. Despite the minimalist furniture, it has a welcoming feeling. The Detour coffee is tasty. Two unique things stood out. 1) The photos on the wall had a senior theme (refreshing since I am a senior); 2) clothes for toddlers are for sale. And I love the inspiration for the name: the owner's daughter! WiFi is also available. The only drawback is parking :( I found a spot around the corner. ”

Cozy and quiet it's a lovely little space for enjoying your coffee! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Fantastic first visit to Rooney's! Lovely little coffee shop with a great vibe. The owner is super friendly. Had a Maple latte, which was delicious. Shared a ginger cookie, which was so moist and tasty with chunks of candied ginger in it. Beautiful art and photo books decorate the space. Highly recommend you make time to check Rooney's for yourself ”

“ Cute little cafe! Very limited furniture and they even have a small patio in the back! I love the frames on the walls and the design of the cafe is very minimal. It almost gives that museum vibe but it’s a coffee shop which is amazing! We got cappuccinos and they were amazing! I can see why this is almost a 5 stars spot. This place is my personal favourite in Hamilton by far! The service is also ”
“ Had the iced strawberry matcha. Smooth and on the sweeter end because of the strawberry. Could still taste the matcha which was good. Almost 8 dollars after tax, it’s a bit on the pricier end. I probably won’t get it again, but could be nice treat if you like fruity matcha drinks. ”
